NIGHT by Noble [Pura Ocarina Alto C major scale] “NIGHT by Noble” is the ocarina in collaboration between two of the biggest company;“NIGHT”ocarina of Otsuka Musical Instrument Manufactory Co., Ltd. from Japan and “NOBLE” ocarina of Noble Ocarina Co., Ltd from Korea. Both companies are the number one sales volume in their own countries and produce tens of thousands of ocarina per year. After cooperated to develop the ocarina, the new brand of “NIGHT by Noble” is produced from Noble Ocarina. Noble’s Ocarina is tuned at its own reference pitch of 445 – 446 Hz playing an ideal sound, because Ocarina of Noble is made for a septet composed only of Ocarina being played in Italy, where is the origin of Ocarina. However, it is standard to set the reference pitch to 440 Hz to 442Hz for piano/guitar accompaniment or classroom/club where various manufactures’ ocarinas are played at. Therefore, NIGHT by Noble is tuned the pitch at 442 Hz – 443 Hz. This pitch enables an great ensemble with other brand’s ocarina in class/clubs. It also harmonizes with the piano of the hall.
