The Chiarugi beveled style knife is a great reed knife for all musical instrument reeds. The beveled edge is able to scrape off cane without digging into the reed. The high carbon blade sharpens easily, but maintains a proper edge for longer than a double hollow-ground or wedge style knife. The hardwood handle is very comfortable in the hand and contributes to the reed knife’s incredible balance.
