This is a “Fast Start” Book that will guide you in setting up a HOME RECORDING STUDIO. It is directed toward the aspiring Independent Recording Artist, but the concepts can be used by anyone who wants to set up a HOME RECORDING STUDIO, for whatever reason that they desire.

How to setup up a HOME RECORDING STUDIO is a very simple task. However, there are many choices you can make, along the way. You must decide what you want in your studio, and what you want to do with it. But, keep in mind that you will be building it according to your taste and preference.

You can begin with a simple idea, or a vision of what you believe a studio might look like, and what “GEAR” you want to have in it, for your specific purpose. And, what “GEAR” you will want to buy, to get it “up-and-running.” Then you can start putting that concept together “one piece at a time.” This is the simplest and easiest way to begin if you are new to this concept and, you are operating on a small budget.

But, if you are without much experience in this matter, then that’s where I come into play. And, I will guide you through the process, with as much “Know-how,” as I can provide in my HOW TO SETUP A HOME RECORDING STUDIO “Gear Buying Guide.” Moreover, this is where you will make a complete start, and go through all the “trial-and-error,” of the learning process. At that point, you will discover what you want to do with your studio, and how you want to transform it into something that can be profitable and useful for you.

The decision to “MAKE A START” is what’s most important. You can start right where you are, with just a few pieces of essential “GEAR” that you may have on hand, or lying around somewhere. Or, you can buy your “GEAR” according to this guide, based on what you can afford for your startup, at this time. Furthermore, you may find some useful equipment tossed out on a curb with a “FREE STUFF” sign on it, by someone who just does not want that old audio “GEAR”, anymore. “That type of situation does happen if you are lucky enough to find it.” But, getting starting somehow, and in some way is the FOCUS of this book.

And, you did read that right…! People do throw away good things simply because it is trash to them. Or, maybe it’s just in the way of a cluttered spot. Or, maybe those items have been replaced by something new. And, if you are lucky enough to find yourself in such a situation, then good for you, because it does happen, and the equipment can still be useful.

However, the next issue that I am sure will come up at some point in your learning phase will be how you will address the situation of being an amateur. This can affect your confidence, when you are just getting started, and learning “something new.” And, you must realize that every individual in life goes through this process when they learn “something new” because you have to start somewhere, and it all begins with this first step…, so “MAKE A START.”

It is this learning phase that an individual must go through, to get the knowledge that is needed, to get to where they want to go. “But, do not be discouraged,” as you progress through this event in your life situation.
